This is Denise Wooten. I'm the candidate for Texas House District 63, and I've got something super on my mind that's come up that's on the Republican platform for Texas. The Texas GOP wants to do away with IVF. And look at my grandson here. He's almost four, and then my grandbaby down there is a little over one year old. They are from IVF.

 

So what I really hate about what the GOP is doing is, the GOP in Texas wants to say who can have kids and who can't. So they're trying to make people who accidentally get pregnant have children instead of exercising their reproductive rights. And then they are also trying to say that families who need to use IVF in order to carry on their heritage and have their own precious children cannot do it in Texas.

 

We have to fight this with everything we've got. I need to be elected to the legislature so we can stop this kind of asinine legislation from hindering people's lives.
