"My top priority is to change the direction of our state government to benefit everyone in my district."
Putting my experience
to work for you
I am firmly committed to leading our state toward practical policies that enhance the lives of ordinary Texans. As a psychologist with a successful 30-year practice in Flower Mound and as an adjunct professor at NCTC, I work with regular people everyday. I know and value the importance of protecting public education and teachers rights, preserving a woman’s right to choose, increasing sensible assault rifle legislation, expanding medical and mental healthcare access, addressing climate change to keep our planet livable, advancing equality of opportunity, and promoting individual rights. I pledge to work cooperatively for the good of everyone in my district.
As a "preacher's kid," I grew up in small towns in the Midwest prior to coming to Texas to attend the doctoral psychology program at Baylor University. Through Baylor connections, I met my husband, who is a small-business owner in Flower Mound. We have two married daughters, and a grandchild! Our strong work ethic and purposeful family values have led all of my family members to support and be involved in my candidacy for Texas HD 63.
